Flash installer returning error: Unable to load application configuration

Adobe Flash: 11.6.602.180

Windows 7 64 Bit

Firefox Version: 20.0.1

I tried going to the offline installer ...

the information there wasn't clear.  It had suggestions for different browsers and O/S etc.  But basically I ended up uninstalling adobe / rebooted my system and re-installed the latest version:

and still have the same problem.  Other people have had this proble on the forum and I'm surprised this has not been fixed yet:

All I need is a direct link to click on to give me an installable that works for 64 bit windows / Mozilla.  Please don't give me a link to a multi-purpose faq page.
