Have an old laptop, Vista 32bit, Internet Explorer 9. Never had problem but then about a month ago everytime I access sites that require flash, I'm prompted to install an updated version, even though I have the latest version installed. I searched forums, found many with same problem, but it always goes unanswerer or suggested tricks (which I tried but do not work). Finally I restored my computer to a previous (one month) version via System Restore, and it all worked fine for a couple of weeks. Then Windows updater downloaded the new April fixes from Microsoft and bam, it again keeps prompting to install an updated version, even though I have the lastest version. i go ahead and install it again, but it still prompts every time. Driving me nuts. I'm about to throw the pc in the garbage. I don't understand why Adobe doesn't recognize and have a fix for this problem that via the forums so many seem to have,
