This is not about downloading or uninstalling,this is about getting a flash pluigin installed.
I have a Power Mac G4 with 10.5.8 and Safari 5.0.6 and Flash 10.1.102.64
I was trying to install the latest version of Flash Player and it did not work.
I followed the instructions on this page - http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-pla yer-mac.html#main-pars_header_1
I downloaded - install_flash_player_10_osx.dmg - opened it and right clicked on Install Adobe Flash Player,went to Show Package Contents,went to Resources and used Adobe Flash Player.pkg
Everything went fine until the end. I got a - The following install step failed:run postflight script for plug in.
