Flash problem in IE9 in Vista

I am hoping to get some help with Flash and IE9 on Vista. It had been working fine, but now I only get a grey screen where the video should play. Flash does, however, play in Safari.

I have uninstalled flash (using Adode's uninstaller) and re-installed numerous times. It says it installed correctly, but no change.

I uninstalled Flash, uninstalled IE9, re-installed IE9, and re-installed flash without any change

Shockwave flash object shows as an add-on and is enabled. Version: 11.6.602.168

ActiveX filtering is not selected

Security is set to mediium

ActiveX controls and plug-ins is enabled

Software rendering instead of GPU rendering is selected

Any suggestions?
